Constellation techniques have attracted the attention of the academic community due to their potential to serve as a support tool in the identification and solution of problems in a more sustainable way.
However, due to their complexity and transdisciplinary context, computational tools based on artificial intelligence, such as natural language processing (NLP) become essential for data analysis and objective discussions.
This study presents a bibliographic investigation on the applications of the constellation techniques oriented to advanced data analysis using NLP. The collection of relevant information available in digital databases was carried out between February and June 2021.
The results indicate an increasing trend in the development of new studies related to the constellation with approximately 20 countries mentioned in the abstracts of publications. Among the main areas of application, 43.78% of published studies are related to Organizations, management, and business, followed by Psychology, medicine, and public health (37.28%) and Law and the legal system (18.93%).
The benefits of the constellation when applied as an investigative tool, focused on problem-solving, even for therapeutic purposes or others, explain the growing interest of the scientific community in this topic. Thus, carrying out scientific studies to validate the method is essential for the development of future research.
